What is a soakaway and do I need one?
A soakaway is an underground pit filled with rubble or a modular crate system that receives surface water and allows it to slowly percolate into the surrounding ground. They're required when connecting to an existing drain is not possible or permitted. We test your ground percolation rate before recommending a soakaway — some soils aren't suitable.
